Don’t you love when you have someone in your life who you can really rely on? I’ve never had very good advisors or a strong support system in place, so it’s been crucial for me to find folks who have great wisdom they’re willing to share. Luckily for me, my neighbor is one of these people. He’s an older man who has over 50 years of experience in the heating, cooling, and ventilation industry. When I met him, he was sure to recommend the best local HVAC repair shop to contact if I had any issues with my current indoor air handling devices. I took his recommendation and immediately made massive improvements to my HVAC system, indoor comfort, and monthly utility bills all in one sweeping motion. From that day forward, I always listened to my new friend when he had something to say. Before I made his acquaintance, I was stuck in an endless loop of trying to repair the HVAC equipment in my home as it broke down just as quickly. The local heating and cooling dealership I was hiring never seemed to be able to fix my furnace or AC unit, let alone the ancient thermostat I was still using. I was paying the HVAC shop out the nose, paying the utility company just as much, and paying my doctor for all the stress I was under. Finally, someone came along and told me what I was doing wrong – hire a better HVAC company and replace your damn thermostat!
