That’s why I was really skeptical when this local HVAC repair shop told me that they were the most tech-savvy guys in the region and would be able to wire my house up with the most modern HVAC solutions on the market in less than one weekend. Call me old fashioned, but I don’t know what all this technology has to do with my indoor air quality control system. Why do they need to install computers around my home in order for my temperature to be properly maintained? Before I was using this air quality dealership for decades – I’ve always been pleased with their work. They inspect the furnace or AC rapidly, and they charge a fair price for all routine maintenance and repair services. But, they don’t seem to be able to install the newer HVAC units on the market. And the HVAC industry seems to be leaning towards these wifi enabled smart temperature devices. I don’t want to get a house full of robot heating and cooling machinery, but I don’t feel like I have a choice – the market has shifted, and those are the HVAC devices of the future. So I can’t use my old heating and cooling repair shop. Instead I’m stuck, trying to work with this HVAC startup company in my hometown. I feel like I am hiring a computer programmer for my furnace installation, not a real HVAC technician.
