Mistakes this year

That’s when I realized, this past year I had absolutely neglected my traditional forced air furnace

It’s almost November and I can’t even believe it. I don’t know where this year went and it almost feels like I have amnesia. Just the other day, I swear that it was January of 2019 and I was looking forward to a fresh start this year. Now, it’s basically the end of the year and I’m looking back on the dirty trail of mishaps that I left in my wake. If I’m being honest with you, it wasn’t my best year ever. Frankly, I made a lot of mistakes that I wish I could take back. There were many times that I felt completely overwhelmed this year between my work and personal lives. Unfortunately, during those periods I often neglected my larger adult responsibilities and abandoned my planning for the future. Today, this has culminated in my I forced air furnace breaking down first thing this morning. When I woke up last night, it seems like the furnace was running over time. I got up and check to the thermostat, but to the heating setting seemed appropriate. I cracked open a window and figured that the air temperature would work itself out. I went back to sleep and woke up this morning to find that my house was now freezing cold. The heating system was offline, and I couldn’t get any warm air to flow through my air vents. I stopped for a second and considered what could have happened with my central HVAC system on this dark and cold morning. That’s when I realized, this past year I had absolutely neglected my traditional forced air furnace. During the rough patches the spring and fall, I completely neglected to have routine HVAC service appointments made for my central furnace. I have no idea when it transitioned into fall, but I should have been paying more attention for my heater’s sake.
