I just prefer the wintertime! Ever since I was just a child, I have enjoyed the snow.
To me, there is nothing like walking outside on a cold winter season day and seeing a fresh layer of snow blanketing the ground.
One of my childhood dreams was to live in a place where there is snow year round; After marrying my highschool sweetheart, my wonderful friend and I moved way up North where there easily is snow for the majority of the year. Many of my friends thought that I would get sick of the snow and cold after a few years, but it entirely hasn’t happened yet. My pal and I have lived up North for almost ten years, and I still prefer every second of residing in this winter season wonderland. My favorite types of afternoons are the afternoons when it’s blizzarding outside, and there’s nowhere to go, so I sit at home with my wood stove and a wonderful book. My wood stove is practically my best acquaintance when it comes to keeping moderate in this cold, snowy place. Having a wood stove also keeps me tied up and gets me some exercise by having to cut wood to keep it going. My wife thinks is funny that I prefer my wood stove so much. She would love to have just an electric heating system to heat the apartment because it’s so much easier and less messy. She knows that I prefer the wood stove though, so she would never get rid of it. It may sound crazy, but I think, wintertime is the best time of the year.
