When I was a child I entertained myself.
- I was given a lot of books from my Grandma since she always worked at book fairs.
Therefore books were my go to if I was bored. I remember going to my parent’s friends houses for a few hours while they talked and had a few drinks and I would rest on the couch and read and watch TV. My parents friends were always so impressed on how good I was. They wished that their children entertained themselves as good as I did. This transferred over to my children. I decided to give them books and show them the importance of learning. However one night his learning got out of hand, but it did show me that my good friend and I had an Heating and Air Conditioning issue. I tucked my son in and said good night thinking that he was going to sleep. I found out that he was still up when he came into my room legitimately scared. He woke me up and told me that he heard a legitimately different noise coming from his vent. The noise only lasted a few seconds but it startled him. I asked him how he heard it and he told me that he was still up learning his book. I asked him what the noise sounded like and he said it sounded like a dying, screeching parakeet and that it was coming from the basement. I realized that our boiler was on and that every time the boiler has been turning off it has been making a different noise. I need to get it fixed by my Heating and Air Conditioning specialist.
