The Cold Wait

The changing of seasons from Summer to Fall is one of my number one times of the year, and where I live up North, my pal and I kind of have a transitional phase from summer time weather to the actual fall weather… This phase lasts for about a month from the second week of October to the second week of October… It’s during this transitional phase that the rapidly changing temperatures outside are usually pretty mild, plus I just enjoy to spend time outside, however once this phase passes though, it’s a totally different story… From the last monthof October to the middle of October, my pal and I have our real fall weather, plus it’s not pleasant.

  • The rapidly changing temperatures are usually in the forties plus fifties, so it’s pretty chilly however not chilly enough to turn on the heater.

Well at least in my hubby’s opinion, it’s not chilly enough. I actually don’t like that time of year because it seems as if the afternoons drag on as I wait for the time when I can actual turn on the heater. The cabin is cold, plus I usually have to dress in lots of layers to stay warm. I have to admit, the changing leaves plus the odor of the crisp air of Fall is charming, however it’s just not charming enough to outweigh the chilly wait, my hubby knows that I get pretty chilly during the fall season, so he bought me two small electric furnaces last year to help keep me warm. The furnaces do help, but I still don’t guess that I will ever appreciate the Fall like most do.
