Time for a New Air Conditioner

I’m not sure that living in a moderate temperature is for me. I grew up in Siberia where it was frigid year round. My family moved to the USA when I was seventeen, and I became a U.S. citizen at the age of eighteen. I graduated from a good school, and met the man of my dreams. My pal and I were soon married, and we moved way out West where both of us were able to pursue our jobs. One thing that I surely wasn’t prepared for is the moderate temperature year round, then even in the wintertime, it doesn’t get below fifty degrees here. I don’t believe I would be able to make it if it weren’t for my air conditioners, and living way out West means using air conditioner most of the year, and unfortunately, I have been having trouble with one of my air conditioners. The one that my partner and I use in the living room is not blowing as frigid as it should be. Since neither my partner nor I know anything about air conditioners, we are thinking of just throwing it out and purchasing a brand new one. One of my friends said that we should let his partner take a look at it before just throwing it away because he is and Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional. The only concern is that his partner is super tied up and doesn’t have a lot of free time to do things like check out a friend’s air conditioner. I’m not sure what we will end up doing, even though I know that we need decide abruptly because I can’t live without my AC!
