Time for a New Air Conditioner

I’m not sure that living in a warm climate is for me.

I grew up in Siberia where it was cold year round.

My family moved to the United States when I was seventeen, and I became a U.S. citizen at the age of eighteen. I graduated from a great university, and met the man of my dreams. We were soon married, and we moved way out West where both of us were able to pursue our careers. One thing that I surely wasn’t prepared for is the warm climate year round. Even in the wintertime, it doesn’t get below fifty degrees here. I don’t think I would be able to make it if it weren’t for my air conditioners. Living way out West means using air conditioning most of the year, and unfortunately, I have been having trouble with one of my air conditioners. The one that my husband and I use in the bedroom is not blowing as cold as it should be. Since neither my husband nor I know anything about air conditioners, we are thinking of just throwing it out and purchasing a brand new one. One of my friends said that we should let her husband take a look at it before just throwing it away because he is and HVAC technician. The only problem is that her husband is super busy and doesn’t have a lot of free time to do things like check out a friend’s air conditioner. I’m not sure what we will end up doing, but I know that we need decide quickly because I can’t live without my AC!
